When K beauty aka SoKo (from South Korea) brands infiltrated the global beauty industry, skincare aficionados went into a frenzy. Beauty editors were not spared. I enjoyed the unusually light but effective textures that we had never seen before. I felt that the game brought a refreshing touch to the beauty and I was intrigued by all of these lotions, potions and essences. Still, you had to cut through the gadgets to find the gems – like Glow Recipe. The hydro-light and intensely hydrating textures are not only a boon for dry skin, but also for oily skin that needs to be hydrated, but doesn’t want to lose its glow or grease. I find her skin care products give you a juicy, meaty finish with more bounce than a trampoline. “Dew drops” is a highlighter with skin care properties, without the mica, glitter and pearls usually expected in a highlighter.
