Allure was also featured at Modern Salons’ 2020 commercial celebration for the reinvention of the business during the 2020 pandemic.
In addition to providing award-winning service, the Allure team also strongly believes in community spirit. Each year, they proudly donate money and service products to various organizations and charities to help support their clients and their community. Allure recently focused its philanthropy efforts on Lake County Haven, a social service agency dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless women and children. Allure provides hairstyling services to residents so that they can look and feel great when they enter the workforce.

Shelly Malizola is the founder of Allure Designs Salon + Boutique in Libertyville, IL. Shelly is a member of the Chicago Cosmetology Association and the Professional Beauty Association. She is a business coach for salons and small business owners. Shelly is a graduate of the Goldman Saches 10,000 Small Business program. She sits on the advisory board of several cosmetology schools in the region. She also devotes her time to her community by serving on the Board of Directors of Mainstreet Libertyville and she co-chairs the organization’s Economic Vitality Committee.
In 2019, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Shelly also founded The Beauty CloudTM. The Beauty Cloud offers accessible aesthetics to women around the world seeking better skin, quality education, and premium products.
