Work on Bloomingdale’s South Coast Plaza store is now complete as the high-end department store reveals its second-floor redesign with the Collage dining room and new designer brands.

The second-floor refresh includes designer boutique fittings from Balenciaga and Saint Laurent, among other labels, as well as a revamped sunglasses store. The cosmetics department also added branded boutiques, the first Gucci Beauty counter on the West Coast, and new spa treatment rooms.

In the meantime, the jewelry department has seen the addition of two semi-private viewing rooms and new brands such as Colette, Suzanne Kalan and Hueb.

The boost to the store’s luxury shoe, handbag and beauty departments also came with the official announcement that the Collage Culinary Experience dining room is now complete with Paradise Dynasty’s first US outpost, based in Singapore. Other Collage concepts include Chef Mike’s Mah Jongs, Le Shrimp Ramen, Egg LXIII, Mochinut, Cha Redefine, Bruxie, Churrino and PhoHolic.

Bloomingdale’s expects to mark the completion of the project with a grand opening event on October 2.
