THE salon owner Mold enjoyed a five-star performance at the 2021 British Hair and Beauty Awards which took place last month.
The event, established in 2014, celebrates the best of the UK hair, beauty, nail and spa industry and rewards those who make a real difference every day.
One of the most successful at this year’s British Hair and Beauty Awards, which took place on August 30, was Michelle Williams from Nercwys.
The 41-year-old has won a string of awards since the creation of Eyelicious Brow, Lash and Skin Clinic on Mold’s Earl Road last November.
In June, Michelle, who previously ran the business from rented space at the city’s High Street tanning salon, Tanz n Hanz, won the ‘2020 Brow Lamination Specialist’ at the KBH Awards.
She has now gone on to win five more accolades at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards.
Michelle and Eyelicious won the ‘Eyebrow Specialist of the Year, Gold Award’ for Wales and she was subsequently crowned the national winner in the ‘Eyebrow Specialist of the Year’ category.
She also added the “Independent of the Year, Gold Award”, “Skin Specialist of the Year, Silver Award” and “Excellence in Customer Service, Silver Award” (all for Wales) to her trophy cabinet.
Michelle said: “I entered 4 categories and was lucky enough to be selected as a finalist for all 4 categories, but won 5 awards.
“I couldn’t believe it. All the hard work over the past 18 months has paid off, even in a global pandemic.”
