ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A new hair salon and creative studio is a dream come true for Addison Foote, owner of One Eleven Salon.
The space, at 113 E. Ann St., opened on December 8 after renovations, painting and a creative reorientation of furniture.
âThe One Eleven team is full of passion, education, creativity and more, and we are delighted to announce our opening in the heart of Ann Arbor,â Foote said in a statement. “It has been months of hard work, blood, sweat and tears, to bring us to the opening of this salon and to fulfill this dream that I have had since I started styling my hair.”
Foote, a hairstylist and hairdressing educator, has worked in the industry for several years and has traveled internationally to work with clients.
â’Dreams don’t come cheap unless you sleep’ is something I say often – and this Dream Salon was no different! I had so many obstacles to overcome to open this salon, but my goals were clear from the start and with the help of my family and friends we made it happen, âsaid Foote.
Part of the fair was devoted to the arts and creativity. The 1,800-square-foot creative studio is open to salon stylists, artists, and the community and showcases artwork from local artists. Foote said the space will also be used for educational events in the future.
The show is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and on request on Sundays and Mondays.
Appointments can be made online, by phone at 734-929-2188 or by email at [email protected].
