Q&A with Lauren Olson, Founder & CEO, Radiance Medical Aesthetics & Wellness
– Can you believe the spa has been open for sixteen years? During these sixteen years, how has Radiance grown?
We have gone from 4 to 24 employees in 16 years. But more important than the number of employees, we have evolved into a great team culture. Unlike most spas, our team members have guaranteed pay and are offered health insurance, paid vacation and a pension plan. We all work together, putting the needs of our patients and guests first. The team culture fostered a non-competitive and caring environment. Most of our employees have been with us for a long time and our guests enjoy developing a relationship with our team members. The environment of caring for each other spills over into caring for our guests.

– You organize such great events for the community – why is community involvement important to Radiance?
Without the support of the individuals in our community who support our growth, we would not be where we are today. I believe that with more blessings comes more responsibility. I’m going to put a plug here so people can buy locally and support small businesses. We are the ones who support the community with school and property taxes. We always support our school and community fundraisers. You don’t see Amazon doing this!
– What do you hope to achieve for your clients?
The field of medical aesthetics and wellness is constantly evolving and I enjoy continuing to learn and bring the latest services and technologies to our patients and guests. Helping someone look and feel better is very rewarding. People come to us for various reasons. What we do is more than just skin deep. It can transform their confidence and attitude towards themselves. People said, “Well I had my Botox and my therapy session! “
– Do you have any plans or goals for the future?
We have moved beyond our original space at Kuykendahl and Woodlands Parkway and recently moved into our beautiful new 6,500 square foot facility 3 miles west. Construction has been a huge undertaking with supply chain issues, but our patients and staff fully appreciate our new space. We look forward to further growth as we offer medical esthetics, skin care, body sculpting, weight loss, wellness, plastic surgery and boutique hair salon services. We are in the same mall as Plush Nail Bar and RND home decor. He is truly a “female mech”. This is a one stop shop!
– Are there any special offers and upcoming specials that we can promote? ?
We will be offering a “Black Friday” gift card promotion of 10% off gift cards for non-Beauty Bank members and 15% off for Beauty Bank members.
