Sherry Shepro

Sherry Mink Shepro, 75, died on September 15, 2021 at her home in Fairfield, Connecticut. She was born in Wilson, North Carolina, daughter of the late Sarah and Irving Mink.
Sherry is a graduate of Fike High School, Wilson, NC and Stratford College, Falls Church, VA. Sherry had an immense joy to be a grandmother and her grandchildren loved knitting, cooking and making crafts and other activities with “Meme”. She loved Friday night dinners with her family and friends. Sherry bred and bred champions of Bichon Frize and was the former owner of The Studio nail salon in Trumbull, Connecticut. Her contagious laugh and her beautiful smile will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel Shepro; their children; Deborah Berkowitz from Monroe, CT, Alyssa Tiberio (Jim) from Stratford, CT, Nancy Pulito (Chris) from Fairfield, CT, Bill Shepro (Gina) from Luxembourg, Luxembourg, Jon Shepro (Julie) from Fairfield, CT, and Jeffrey Shepro from Copper Mountain, CO, her grandchildren; Samantha and Emily Berkowitz, Braden and Joshua Tiberio, Gianna Pulito, Jaron and Andrew Shepro, and Sydney and Isla Shepro; and her sister, Linda Sara of Charlotte, North Carolina.
We are extremely grateful to the nurses and caregivers at Sherry, Veronica, Evelyn, Kenya and Laize, for their love, care and compassion for Sherry over the past few years.
The funeral will be on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. directly at B’nai Torah Cemetery, 250 Reid St, Fairfield, CT. Friends and family unable to attend in person can view the service on the Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home website at greensfuneralhome.com. A celebration of life will follow the service and the burial. The address will be provided at the end of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinson.org or to a charity of your choice.
