A beauty look from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2021 show.

the Fall 2021 shows the load, although sparser and weirder than usual. As designers presented their latest collections in Milanothe glamorous behind-the-scenes crews brought out creativity, color and artistry (well, as best they could in these weird times).

This season, Italy’s fashion capital has displayed a wide range of hair and makeup inspirations alongside its collections, creating some truly mesmerizing moments of beauty. Valentino and Dolce & Gabbanareinventing classic red lips and black eyeliner at the former and focusing on bold lips (pink! red! electric blue!) at the latter.

As for hair, braids, cornrows and other iterations of protective styles spotted the leads to EtroDolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Marni and Roberto Cavalli.
