Roziani Zulkifli – We know nothing beats physical interaction, so when face-to-face interactions take place at the salon, it will be as always, but with the addition of health and safety precautions. This will ensure a safe experience for everyone involved while preserving the essence of the renowned event.

First, the virtual platform will open on September 13 to allow exhibitors and visitors to start connecting and scheduling meetings when they meet in person in Barcelona from October 5 to 7. The real virtual experience will begin after-show on October 11 because the online platform will be reopened to allow R&D professionals and suppliers to meet digitally, in case they haven’t had the opportunity to do so in person. Additionally, there will also be plenty of live and on-demand content in the form of webinars, demos, tours, and sessions that will take place over the following weeks. On October 29, we will finish in-cosmetics Global and say goodbye to next year, where we’ll bring the personal care industry together in Paris again!

Premium Beauty News – Will all exhibitors participate in the two events (face-to-face and digital)?

Roziani Zulkifli – Exhibitors will participate in both virtual and physical events, as those who have registered for the show in person will also receive a virtual list as part of their booth package. However, as some companies may not be able to make it to Barcelona, ​​we have also provided the option to simply attend virtually to ensure they don’t miss out on all of the valuable networking opportunities offered.

Roziani Zulkifli – the in person event will be the primary means of sourcing ingredients, building relationships and generating new leads. But the virtual event will complement it by allowing visitors to catch up on anything they may have missed at the show and start conversations with exhibitors they did not have time to meet on site.

Premium Beauty News – Do you already know how many exhibitors will be present this year?

Roziani Zulkifli – We currently have 500 exhibitors attend the show.

Premium Beauty News – What health measures and restrictions will be implemented during the in-person event in Barcelona?

Roziani Zulkifli – The health and safety of visitors, exhibitors and staff remains our top priority, which is why we are working closely with local authorities and the Fira Barcelona site to adopt a strong ‘5-point strategy for health and safety ”and take all necessary precautions.

Changes to in-cosmetics Global include a showroom capacity of 1 person per 2.5 m² and a one-way system to help maintain government regulations of a minimum social distance of 1.5 meters. There will also be the highest standards of cleaning before, during and after the event, hand sanitizers readily available throughout the venue as well as increased ventilation to improve the circulation of fresh air.

Since the safety and security of COVID-19 requires the participation of everyone, everyone present at the event will have to follow a number of hygiene measures such as wearing face coverings, keeping a distance physical and abstaining from shaking hands. Exhibitors will also revise the design of their stands to facilitate these measures and will be required to clearly display maximum capacity to avoid overcrowding.

Roziani Zulkifli – We are very excited for in-cosmetics Global 2022, which will take place in Paris from April 5 to 7, but our main focus at the moment is the event that will take place in October in Barcelona! For more than a year, in-person activities have been suspended due to the pandemic which has resulted in a series of cancellations and postponements of events across industries across the globe. We’re very proud of our transition to virtual events, but it’s our physical events that make us famous, and their absence has only reinforced our belief in the need for face-to-face events. We are working extremely hard to see the return of in-cosmetics Global in a COVID-19 secure format.
